We have a lot of beautiful country on our ranch, seeing it while riding is a great adventure.  The terrain is varied, from flat along the banks of the river to steep on the mountain trails.  Children must be 6 years old to ride on their own but our wranglers are glad to lead younger buckaroos on short trips around the arena.  Guests are welcome to assist in grooming and saddling.

Our riding program varies with the seasons.  During the summer it is one of the main activities.  A horse is selected to suit your riding skills and is yours to enjoy for the week.  There are two rides daily that last one to two hours each, all day lunch rides, evening rides, and an over night campout, weather permitting.  Lessons are available in the arena at no charge.

DRA Member Ranch Horse Safety certified and Adaptive First Aid for the trail certified. 

We change our riding program in the off season.  We generally offer one to two hour trail rides if weather conditions allow, at a rate of $30 an hour per person to our guests.  Day visitors at the Bar M are welcome to ride at a charge of $35 - $40 an hour per person.
